The US celebrates its 250th anniversary these days, the highlight comes on July 4, the date that the colonies once declared their independence from the British. This anniversary is however celebrated in turbulent times, in recent months the US has waged the disastrous war with Iran, a conflict that has still not been resolved. That is not surprising, the history of the US is mainly a history of wars and interventions, the US has more than 700 military bases worldwide, much, much more than Russia and China.
The Vulture
In the US chart made on the basis of the Great Conjunction of Saturn that preceded independence (March 18, 1763, 11:33:32 LMT, Asc 8.59 Cancer), this is clearly visible. On the Ascendant is Sirius, the main star of the Big Dog, a violent star that can be associated with brutal intimidation. Lord 1 (the US) is the Moon right on the descendant (the others) and it will therefore show itself powerfully in the world. Moon/Lord 1 is in conjunction with Vega the Falling Vulture, in Teheran and Caracas they know what that means. The role as a world power is therefore clearly visible in the chart of the country, but how will it continue because, as mentioned, with Donald Trump in the lead, it all remains a bit turbulent.
Let us first go back to 2024 when Trump entered the White House for the second time, in that year the MC moved over Antares, the Scorpion’s Heart announcing the beginning of a new cycle! The Ascendant came into opposition with Neptune, a clear picture of what followed, in many areas existing structures were brutely dissolved (the actions of Elon Musk for example). That Neptune opposition is now over, but that has not yet brought more stability. In February, wehn the war with Iran started, the progressive Pars Solis (part of the Sun) , one of the six major progressions, moved over Prima Hyades into the notorious crisis zone, and it will take another ten months before the PS leaves this behind (the PS moves backwards through the signs).
Midterms
In November this year, when the midterm elections for a new House of Representatives and a third of the Senate are held, great tensions can be seen again. The PF enters Sagittarius and thus activates Jupiter, the lord of Sagittarius, which in the horoscope of the US is Lord 6 of adversity and in conjnction with the Great Malefic Saturn in fall. The PF and the PS, the part of the Sun (government) and the Moon (people) are opposed to each other and the PF also comes into opposition with Mercury Lord 12 of self-destruction. So for the time being, turbulent times in the US are not over yet.
