After the recent elections in the Netherlands, there was some slight optimism for a while. Not radical hotheads or unstable new interest groups had won, but the center had come out stronger. Now that cautious optimism seems to have evaporated again, because the political parties have dug themselves in to such an extent that the formation of a cabinet seems impossible. The worst thing is that the parties don’t even disagree that extremely, it’s mainly about the power game. The Netherlands has a number of very urgent problems that the previous government did nothing about at all, but a quick and decisive approach is really not yet in sight.

What could be seen of these problems in the chart of The Netherlands? We will use the mundane radix of The Netherlands of August 25, 1563, 18:15:30 LMT Amsterdam with 28.55 Aquarius as Ascendant. This is the chart of the exact moment of the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter preceding the moment that The Netherlands declared its independence from the Spanish crown. Mercurcury is on the Descendant in this chart, describing The Netherlands very well as a pragmatic trading country, Fomalhout is on the Ascendant, the star that has to do with taming seawater.
Moon
The progressions in this chart show the developments of the past year and a half, especially the progression of the Moon. In July 2024, the fake cabinet-Schoof took office, the most disastrous and incompetent government the country has ever had, only quarrels, political games and obstruction. In the progressions we see that clearly indicated with the Moon just entering the Via Combusta! The cosmos does not like the Schoof cabinet much either. It can also be seen when things will eventually turn into a crisis, which is always when the Moon goes to its fall in Scorpio, a fixed pattern in the Moon’s progression through the Burnt Road.
Fall
That happened in June this year and indeed then the fake cabinet Schoof fell, until a new cabinet takes office, however, it will remain in place, totally lame and badly battered. The progressed Moon is now in the sixth degree of Scorpio, still in the Via Combusta and this will remain so until the fifteenth degree of Scorpio. The Moon will not arrive there until October 2026! So it seems that it will remain unstable in the Netherlands until then and if you look at the current deadlock, that is not inconceivable. The only good news is that by the end of next year, the passage through the Burnt Road that is always so problematic will be over!
