Tensions in the world remain high, and we are resuming the mundane analysis of the state of the world that we began some time ago. In the first discussion of this theme, the run-up to WW2 was looked at as an example, it was analysed what the relevant mundane horoscopes showed at that time. It is remarkable that the astrologers of the time did not make a clear prediction of the coming war, but astrology did not yet have the classical techniques at that time and therefore worked with a severe handicap. By looking at the positions then , a clear picture can emerge of what you have to look at to see a war.
Great Conjunction
In the previous analysis, the Aries ingress for Berlin of 1939 was interpreted, in September that year the war started with the invasion of Nazi Germany in Poland. This was preceded by a time of intimidations and great tensions, in 1938 it even came to the annexation by Nazi Germany of the Südetenland, the parts of the Czech Republic and Poland where a German-speaking population lived. Annexations also take place now, but the big question is whether what could be seen from the start of this real major war in other relevant charts than the already discussed ingress. The first chart to look at is that of Germany itself, of course. This concerns the chart of the Great Conjunction that preceded the unification in 1871, the data of that German radix are 21-10-1861, 13:15:54 Berlin Asc 14:42 Capricorn (only progressions shown here).
War-like Venus
A very important element of any prediction is the context and when looking at the progressions for September ’39, it is immediately very clear! Because the primary direction of the Asc moves over Aldebaran, the red martial Eye of thw savage Bull. This direction connects even further with the radix of Germany, because it is also in opposition with the radix-Venus (which therefore is in the radix on Antares). That does not mean that everything ends with a soothe and that peace will be preserved, because Antares indicates the end of a cycle! Also, this only seemingly peaceful Venus in the radix is in a narrow sextile with a very vicious warlike Mars in detrimen. Exactly in the month that the attack comes, the Moon makes a trine with this war-Venus.
Mars
Furthermore, in 1939 the primary MC runs via antiscion over the German natal Moon in the notorious crisis zone at the end of Taurus. War planet Mars has just left its own sign in progression and has therefore laost control. The progressions in the national radix show it clearly, although you need traditional techniques for that. Also the broader context now, somewhat resembles that of then: in 1940/41 there was a new Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter, now we are still in the change indicated by the Great Conjunction of 2020 that announced the emergence of a new world power with its entry into the Air element.
