Ukraine is in trouble, the Americans, together with the Russians, have come up with a peace plan that looks more like a capitulation. Ukraine will have to give up territory and the other conditions in the plan are not exactly favorable for the country. Yet there does not seem to be too much choice, things are not going well at the front, a too divided Europe does not come with sufficient support and the government is weakened by a corruption scandal. Trump has cleverly chosen the moment to enforce his “peace,” but it will probably be a Pax Trumpiana, a sham just like in Gaza where Israel just continues to bomb.
Full Moon
So it is a good time to see what is happening in the chart of Ukraine. There are several possibilities to take as a chart of the country, but what seems to work well in any case is that of the independence (August 24, 1991, 16:31 Asc 8.41 Capricorn ). In that chart the beginning of the war in February 2022 can be seen very clearly as a progressive Full Moon that is just changing signs. Of course, this indicates a moment of dramatic changes and great tensions.
Algol zone
In the progressions of the moment made on the basis of that chart, the difficult situation for Ukraine is immediately clear to see. The progressed Moon is about to enter the crisis zone after Algol! That zone extends from Algol to the Hyades and the Moon needs about ten months to get through it. The Moon will also square the progressed Venus, which indicates the truce or the peace treaty. It is clear, this is a bitter pill that is going to be swallowed.
Lord 6
There is always a fixed pattern in the progressed Moon moving through the Algol zone, because the moment the Moon changes signs and leaves Taurus, it also loses its dignity of exaltation. That is usually a moment of a peak in the crisis and that will come in six months. After that, the Moon moves on to square the progressed Jupiter that is in detriment which is of course not good. Mercury, natal Lord 6 of adversity is also changing sign and leaving ist domicile and exaltation, a great loss of dignity as if the adversity becomes visible now in its full measure.
