Modern society often resembles more of a series of symptoms of a developing psychiatric disorder than of a culture offering people something valuable. Social media don’t exactly bring out the best in people and the weirdest trends follow each other in rapid succession. Life maxxing, mindless challenges, manosphere, body shaming, fat shaming, the root of all this misery is the modern idea that you can and should control what happens in your life and that, if you are not rich, healthy, strong, handsome and successful, it is your fault, shame on you! These are the extreme consequences of rationalism, materialism and liberalism.
Balm
Astrology is the soft balm and an antidote against these sick minds, at least classical astrology because modern astrology goes along with this idea of control albeit in a different way and not for the full 100%. A recent shocking example is the singer Ariana Grande, who decided this month not to perform for the time being because she received so much criticism of her at the moment so thin build, the so-called skinny shaming. Phyiscal changes and health are determined by astrological factors and in Grande’s progressions, this is clearly visible.
Saturn
It is the melancholical cold and dry planets Saturn and Mercury that make you thin and yes Grande’s primary Ascendant has come into conjunction with progressed Saturn! Retrograde Saturn is Lord 1 of the body, normally you would not look at Saturn moving so slowly in progression, but you will when a faster factor passes over it. Then the potential comes out, next year this conjunction with thin-making Saturn will be over. Other factors confirm the idea of difficulties, the secondary Sun is on Praesepe, the “second Algol”, a very malevolent crisis star. Progressed Mercury, Lord 6 of illness and adversity, makes an opposition with Uranus (painful limitation) and Neptune (chaos) in the natal chart conjunct the Ascendant of the body.
Profection
In addition to these slow progressed factors, the three fast factors are always also analysed , the Moon, the Pars Fortunae and the Pars Solis. These three factors move at a speed of one degree per month and this month the PF is moving over the above mentioned opposition of Neptune/Uranus and Mercury/Lord 6 on the radix Asc/Desc axis. The PS is in conjunction with evil Vindemiatrix associated with separation and the Moon, Lord 7 of the public makes an opposition with Venus of the outer appearance. The crisis is therefore very clearly indicated in the progressions. The profection comes this year to the tenth house of work of which Mars is the ruler, in the radix placed in House 8 of the end and in opposition to Lord 1 indicating a gap between the person and the work. Astrology eliminates sick ideas.
