Last week we discussed the combine chart of NATO and Donald Trump, which contained a lot of tensions. It also became clear that a combine shows the concrete situation in which the interaction between the two “partners” takes place. Due to the extreme psychologization in modern astrology, from which the idea of the combine horoscope originates, that essential aspect of the horoscope has disappeared from view. Of course, this applies to all horoscopes: they are a picture of our life in the world, not just of our emotions and our psyche.
Antares
In that Trump-NATO combine, the Aldebaran/Antares axis was on the IC/MC axis, indicating the dynamics of an end and a new beginning. Lord 1/10 was in that combine combust showing that in the time and the situation that Trump and NATO are starting to come into intensive interaction is a context of weakening. Also striking in that combine was the extremely relevant Mars of military force in conjunction with Saturn in detriment in opposition to Lord 1. That shows how Trump’s actions affect NATO. A combine remains an interaction chart and not another NATO radix.
Rutte
It is therefore of course extremely interesting to see how this looks from NATO secretary-general Mark Rutte’s side. You may expect to see something of the dynamics of the situation, but Rutte’s actions are of course different from Trump’s, so the tension and weakening would be less pronounced. The first thing that immediately catches the eye in te Rutte-NATO combine is that the MC/IC axis is on the same Aldebaran/Antares axis – end / new beghinning – as in the combine of NATO and Trump. It is also striking that the pliable Moon is close to the MC, which seems to reflect the same theme of change and moving along is of course something Rutte can do!
Terebellum
That Moon that you could also see as Rutte, is conjunct Mars of military strength in exaltation via antscion. That is very different from those undermining oppositions in the Trump conbine ! Mars is in the weakening twelfth house and on the fate star Terebellum and indeed Rutte’s time as NATO chief is a time of fundamental changes. The fact that the Moon is conjunct Mars via antiscion may indicate that he military power is maintained in a more indirect unexpected way (anantiscion is not visible).
Lunar Mansion
The Lunar Mansion is also meaningful as a kind of summary of the core of the interaction. In the case of Trump with NATO, it was Al Sarfah, the fourth Mansion of Leo that is mainly concerned with conflict and change, in Rutte’s case it is Al Iklil the Head of the Scorpion. That mansion has to do with defense against enemies, the head indicates clever skill! It is important to realize that the two combines also show what the role of the person is in that context and what the effect of their actions will be in the situation.
