Last week the ingress chart of 2025 was discussed here, calculated for Tehran and in that chart Mars was in its fall in Cancer on the Ascendant. So that is a Mars that will show its worst side and this manifested itself in Iran in the very bloody suppression of the popular uprising and the attack by the US and Israel on the country. That was what the 2025 ingress showed, but recently the new 2026 ingress started working at the spring equinox. That ingress was also discussed here onceand if we make it for Tehran then it still looks pretty dramatic with a concentration of the Sun, Neptune and Saturn in fall around the descendant. Even if the attack stops quickly, the damage that has been done will continue to have an impact for a long time, politically and materially.
Mars line
In the ingress-2026, Mars may be in better condition in its triplicity in Pisces than last year, but the war planet is in opposition via antiscion to the peace planet Venus that is in detriment in Aries.That is of course not so nice, that Mars is in conjunction with Achernar, the star connected to the Solar Chariot that comds crashing down in flames doesn’t make it any better. This tense opposition via antiscion applies to the whole world, but in the places where it appears on the angles ,the tension will show itself strongest. Remarkably, Mars conjuncts the Ascendant on a line in Eastern Europe that runs from Helsinki via Minsk to Bucharest. You would like to see that differently in this situation!
Nodal axis line
On the other side of the world there is also a region to be seen with very striking positions on the angles, in Taiwan the nodal axis is on the M/IC axis with the South Node on the MC! The South Node is a kind of super-Saturn that always forces a painful sacrifice and that is worrying for Taiwan given China’s threatening attitude.Mars is a bit further away in the fourth house and not exactly on the MC/IC axis, but Mercury is in Pisces in fall and detriment is. In the ingress chart, Mercury is Lord 10 of the government, which therefore ends up extremely weak at the very lowest point on the chart. In any case, we can say it will be an eventful year for Taiwan.
